New Items for 2012-2013 TGA Tournament Year:
      2012 - 2013 TGA Tournament Year: May 30, 2012 - May 29, 2013
     
    1.   Puffing Billy Game Category Changes: (posted May 2012)
  • Trans America/Trans Europa - Moved to Category 4 from Category 5.
  • First Train to Nuremberg  New addition to Category 4.
  • Paris Connection - New addition to Category 5.
  • Spectral Rails - New addition to Category 5.
  • Cable Car - New addition to Category 5.
  • Settlers of America - Moved from Category 5 to Category 7.

    2.  New Point System for Event Placement - Coming Soon. (posted May 2012)  
  • TGA is putting in place a system to award points for placements in all reported Sanctioned TGA Events.
  • The new point system will track total awarded points for all historical results reported to TGA for Sanctioned Events.
  • More information will be coming soon on this new point system.

            1.  Ticket to Ride (T2R) - all board game variants
            2.  Empire Builder - all variants
            3.  18XX - all variants
            4.  Union Pacific, Santa Fe, Freight Train, T2R Card Game, Trans America/Trans Europa, ROTW Card Game, Days of Steam,
                        First Train to Nuremburg, Station Master, Hell Rails, all other train card games & Alan Moon designed train games.
            5.  On the Underground, Metro/Cable Car, Chicago Express, Streetcar, Steel Driver, Trainsport, Circus Train, Paris Connection,
                        Railways Rivals/Dampfross, Spectral Rails, Stephen's Rocket, and all other 2-hour games.
            6.  Railways of the World (ROTW) - all board game variants, Rails of New England, Brass/Age of Industry
            7.  Express, Settlers of America and all other 3 hour games.
            8.  Silverton, Steam/Age of Steam - all variants
            9.  Rail Baron, Baltimore and Ohio and all other 4 hour or longer games.
